4 Quart Mooneyes Oil Tank

Next generation oil tank stemming from changes to the original Chopper Oil Tank design, comes the new and adapted MOON MOTORCYCLE OIL TANK!

To simply installation and broaden application usage, the 1-gallon aluminum MOON Tank mounts without the use of the traditional MOON Tank brackets. Instead, it uses three tab stays as brackets that are matched to pre-fabricated mounts within the tank itself. To make mounting easier, tab stays are included but must be welded to the frame or location of mounting position.

All required hardware to mount the tank is included. An outlet, return, vent and drain on the kickstand side is located on the bottom. Please note that the mount stays (brackets) must be professionally modified and welded into place per specific application. Once complete, you are ready to hook it up and GO!

This steel oil tank with rounded ends is set up for your Harley chopper or bobber. Feed and drain are on opposite ends of the tank. The filler is on the right side and features a thread-on, CNC machined aluminum cap with o-ring. The filler neck sticks out of tank approximately 1 3/4". 100% TIG welded and pressure tested.

- 3/8"-16 mounting bungs spaced on 3 3/4" centers
- 1/8" female NPT feed, vent, return, and drain bungs

Actual Dimensions without fittings, bungs, or filler are 6" diameter by 11" wide.

These oil tanks are made by Dennis at Cali Choppers, and are as good as it gets. Plumbed and ready to run on your British bike, this will look perfect on that Triumph or BSA motorcycle. These already have the T for the rocker feed and also have a bung for the stock, internal filter basket!

The 40's chopper oil tank. Custom hand spun 3qt Chopper Oil Tank. Tank is 5" in diameter by 10" in length. Tank comes standard in your choice of side or center fill, and with three mounting bungs, two on top and one on the bottom. Oil feed and return on right side with the return having a tube to the top of the tank, and one drain bung on opposite end. The center fill tank will have check valve in cap, eliminating the need for a separate breather, and the side fill tank will have breather bung top center.

Each oil tank is made to order so please allow about a week for production time before your tank ships.
