So, from time to time, whether things are slow around the shop or I'm just needing to release some creative marbles.....I sit down and put together something leather. This something might be a motorcycle seat, it might be a wallet, but it also just might be a leather cuff for jammin' or maybe just a piece of handtooled leather art to hang in the hallway.

Either way you look at it, whatever you find on this page of my website, is something one-off, something that will never be made again. Someone might choose to simply collect one of the creations, or they might just use the heck out of it.....which is way kool.

So take a moment to peruse that page.....you might find something you'd like to have.

Ozark Antique Auto Swapmeet and HAMB Drags....all in one day!!

Some sweety action going on this past weekend people, because last saturday was not only day number two of the Antique Auto Swapmeet at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds, but also the HAMB DRAGS down, north of Joplin, MO! Should be quite a trip.....I'll post up pics soon. Hotrods, bobbers, dragbikes, Jalopys, ratrods, and so much more! I can't get enough.....

Wade from Sucker Punch Sallys in Shreveport, LA (Scots All American Cycles) commissioned me to build a seat for a charity event he is building a bike for.....

I've done seats for Wade @ SPS in the past, quite a cool guy to work for. This Solo Spring Seat was a special project for this charity for Melissa and I was extra proud to be the seat builder for it. Can't wait to see pics of it on the chopper!

Not sure where the credit is due, but I cannot keep up with business the past few months. I haven't even posted a new blog here in a long time! Things are going great and I'm coming out with some new leatherwork ideas that I hope you like. Here are a few things I've been working on lately:

Seat for Oscar's custom chopper. Oscar recently came back from Iraq and definately wanted to finished his ride. He sent me a ChopperShox Seat Pan to cover. When I got the pan, it was all nice and powder coated gray. Seat is Anvil's DIRTY BROWN stain with Oscar's artwork of a Skull with TopHat, chuggin' on a cigar which is marked "USMC". Brass Rivet Screws outline seat's perimeter. Bottom of seat is left open as desired by Oscar to show off the nicely painted pan. It was a pleasure doing business with you Oscar, thank you very much.

"HARD TAIL" Custom Leather Motorcycle Seat for XAVIER....

I recently had the pleasure of recovering Xavier's factory BigDog Motorcycle Seat. Well, he emailed me his artwork, decided on colors, and shipped his seat to me. Upon receiving Xavier's seat, I immediately began measuring and cutting on leather. Nice leather too!!! Rich, buttery soft Hermann Oak Leather!! Nearly finished with getting the seattop pieces cut out, I get a call from Xavier. He has changed his mind and now wants to have a complete Anvil Customs SOLO SEAT and ChopperShox Set-up for his bike!!! I'm like, "DUDE!! I already cut up a bunch of leather my man!!"

Xavier was so cool about it! What a great guy to do business with. Anyways,we changed up his order, got his ChopperShox here and away I went building his newly designed seat for his Big Dog motorcycle. Xavier really did make it easy on me as he provided the entire artwork. His HARD TAIL Pin-Up Girl was a trip to handtool into the leather! After many, many hours into this seat, we finally have a finished product......and with it, I'm very well pleased if I do say so myself.

Black seattop with multi-stained tooling, tan seat bottom to match pin-up girl's skin tone and text. Black Kangaroo lacing on seattop and around seat's edge. STAINLESS ChopperShox for seat suspension.
